Waste Warriors hit Richmond Upon Thames

Today saw the launch of Koko's very own recycling super heroes, the Waste Warriors.

Mack, Sally, Billy and Jo visited children from the London Borough of Richmond Upon Thames to teach them how and why they should recycle. Integrated into the children's national curriculum throughout the schools in the area, the Waste Warriors hope to show these 5-11 year olds that recycling can be fun as well as being a growing part of their future responsibilities to our planet.

Using extracts from a student video, the Waste Warriors present the processes involved when recycling as well as showing the children what happens to their items once they have been recycled.

Animations provide the children with interesting facts about recycling and the inclusion of multiple choice question sections keeps the children entertained whilst being educated.

Everyone at Koko had loads of fun with this project and we look forward to seeing the Waste Warriors in the office again soon.
